Aurora was built by Meyer Werft in the year 2000 for P & O Cruise Lines, she's slightly bigger than her smaller sister Oriana and her top section was re-designed featuring a lovely sweeping stern section which curves down the top decks.

She's 886ft long, 106ft wide with a draught of 26ft and at 76,000 tons she's a pretty big cruise ship with a cruising speed of 24 knots - she's still up there with some of the newer cruisers.

Style wise I like the Aurora a lot, I like the angular look to her forward section, but what really makes it for me is the sweeping decks at the stern, they just look awesome.
